What's new: The Luverne Star Herald featured my organ project on the front page of the local paper!

Welcome to my place on the web

Rock County Star Herald, featured an article on their front page of my organ project. Sara Quam came up to the house to interview me and hear the organ. The article also featured some nice pictures. I found a 1915 6' 4 1/2" A-III(the long A) at Schmitt Music in Edina, MN. The piano has been completely restored by Steinway in New York City.

I decided that after 8 years in the SAAB 340 it was time for a change so I made the switch to Captain in the CRJ(Canadair Regional Jet) 200. It is the 50 seat regional jet. Unfortunately the open house/recital I mentioned in the news article may have to wait until Spring.

steinway This is a photo of the piano at the store. It was built by Steinway & Sons of New York City in 1915. It has been completely rebuilt by the factory in New York.
steinway The piano is 6 foot 4 1/2 inches, a size no longer made by Steinway, but very desirable. I compared it to the 6 foot 2 inch piano that was new and you could hear more sound, particularly bass from the extra length.
